Individual Project The Proposal Concept Silhouette I intend to do a series of photos of the natural environment; both plants and animals may be included. The aim is to capture an interesting silhouette at the same time as taking a beautiful picture. I want the original pictures to be bright and vibrant, taken from interesting angles. After taking the pictures with a digital camera I will use Photoshop to turn the pictures into plain black silhouettes with an altered background [maybe just white]. The pictures will be presented in book format, professionally bound. After the front cover a picture of a silhouette will be shown on the right side of the page. It will be suggested that the viewer try to guess what made that silhouette. This suggestion will appear either on the left side page or on a separate page beforehand [all other left side pages will probably be blank]. On the next page will be the original picture of the previous silhouette also situated on the right. The layout of the book will continue in that manner with the other pictures, shown silhouette than original. The plan will be to have ten different pictures used in the book, accompanied with its silhouette makes twenty pictures. The book will be relatively small, about A5. Approx. 22-23 pages including front cover and back cover.
